Broken to Beautifully Whole Workshop
Why be broken when you can become silver or gold?

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with lacquered silver or gold. The philosophy behind the art is that once it is repaired, it becomes stronger and more beautiful. In this workshop, we take a deep dive into establishing the six attributes in Broken to Beautifully Whole as habits to propel healing and growth while ultimately leading you to your purpose, confidence, and fulfillment.

This is a powerful workshop with learning how to build healthy attributes as part of your everyday life, make a beautiful piece of Kintsugi, and find empowerment to more self-worth, confidence, and fulfillment. We’ll end with learning to embrace our scars, rather than hiding or disguising them.

Stewards of Children Workshop
How do we empower our children and reduce their vulnerabilities from sexual abuse?

The sexual abuse statistics for children are very uncomfortable, yet they are our reality. 1 in 6 boys and 1 in 4 girls will be sexually abused in some form before their 18th birthday. The average age for a child to be abused is 9. We, as a society, have the ability to defeat these statistics by teaching our children what body boundaries are and what consent truly means.

As a Darkness to Light Facilitator, I share the “5 Steps to Protecting Our Children” to learn the facts, minimize opportunity, create the conversation, recognize the signs, and react responsibly and supportively. We can do this as a community, however it takes action. Begin the action by signing up your group or organization for the workshop. Stewards of Children qualifies for CEU hours.
